IronClad Equipment Rentals was founded in 2008 by Marcus Webb and two colleagues, all former heavy equipment technicians with combined experience of over 40 years maintaining machines for state transportation departments and large civil contractors.

They started IronClad because they were tired of watching contractors rent machines that were poorly maintained, under-certified and supported by people who had never set foot on a construction site. They believed the industry deserved better.

Sixteen years later, IronClad is Nevada's leading independent equipment rental company with 80+ machines, a full-time workshop team of twelve and a client retention rate of 91%.

Equipment reliability is not a service level. It is a legal commitment that appears in every one of our rental agreements.

FOUNDER & CEO

Thirty years in heavy equipment, fifteen as a field technician for NDOT. Founded IronClad in 2008 with a pickup truck and two Caterpillar machines. Still walks the yard every morning.

TROY NAKAMURA

HEAD OF OPERATIONS

Civil engineer with 22 years on road and bridge projects. Troy manages the workshop, fleet maintenance schedule and all logistics. The reason every machine leaves the yard in perfect condition.

DANA PORTILLO

CLIENT SERVICES DIRECTOR

Former construction project manager who now leads client services. Dana wrote the service-level agreement, responds to every major complaint personally and has made 91% retention a reality.
